Blue Cream Rose 6x6 oil on board
I did this painting for the Daily Paintworks blue challenge.
The parameters were to make it predominately light,
high key, avoid any complementary colors and
still make the blue focal point pop.
It was an interesting challenge.

Beautiful blues here Bruce. I particularly like the shadow color under the beautifully painted jug.
ReplyDeleteI like this one Bruce! Sounds so easy at the look and yet is a bit complex. Good you got variety without complementary colors. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Julie, I wasn't really sure about the shadow color when I put it on, then when I stood back I thought, ok, that works OK.
ReplyDeleteHi Francesco, you know I would have used more colors for sure, but it's good to work with such a limited palette, you showed me that! Thanks for commenting.
