Rain in Paris 5x7 oil on board
This was done for a Daily Paintworks Challenge to
paint rain. I usually use
very vivid colors but I also love to use
grays and muted tones so this was a great chance
to do that.
I used a very textured canvas which I think helped
to give a fuzzy atmospheric effect.
Great feeling of the rain with your soft edges and beautiful neutrals. Makes the red umbrella s pop
