Things are starting to heat up hear in Malta. This will be
typical of what I'll see for the next few months. People will be hiding in bits of
shade where ever they can find it -
or create it!
BTW- I don't always work small, I like to vary the
sizes of my paintings.
I love this one... great transparency in the shadow.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment! You should know how much I'm enjoying your blog and your "fracturing". I sometimes like to apply lots of color with a palette knife too. I find your process intriguing and look forward to seeing more of it!
It's still spring here in Malta so expect more people taking cover in every spot of shade available in the coming weeks when things really get hot. We are very inventive in creating shady spots. Excellent choice of cool colours used for the shadow of the parasol.
