This is our group from the workshop in France with Ovanes. It was wonderful to meet everyone and be in such a small group to learn from a master painter. On the left is Tania, from Brazil, who learned alot of English and had a good time painting too:)
The short fellow is Keene and you can check out his beautiful paintings at http://keenewilson.com/. He's got some great notes on his website about the workshop for artists that are interested.
Next to Keene is Pat and you can see her beautiful florals and other paintings at http://patfiorello.com/. Check out her blog too for lots of handy info.
Last one on the right- c'est moi!
I need to also include Cashew, le chat, named for a black and white type of liquorish, and Socrat, le chien, named after Socrates because she's always thinking while gazing off into space.
And last but not least the Master himself putting us all to shame and showing us how it's really done!
Nice!
Oh THANK you for sharing! How lucky to be in this group! I cannot wait to see how your work is influenced. I think he paints like YOU! :D
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks Kelley, you gave me a big smile:))))
DeleteWhat an amazing opportunity...had just heard from Pat that she was there....Lucky Lucky and very special indeed!!
ReplyDeleteIt was an amazing experience! Lots of laughs while we were struggling along in the pouring rain:) Love what you've been doing lately Kathy and know your show went well.
DeleteIt's nice to see you so enthusiastic! I am sure you got a lot of inputs for your art!
ReplyDeleteHi Francesco, the rain did put a bit of a damper on things but it was great for learning to paint gray days, not my fave. Headed out now in Malta to paint with friends and the sun is peeking through the clouds- YAY- piece of cake- no rain:)
DeleteWhat a wonderful opportunity you had, thank you for sharing some of your workshop and for linking to Keene's site...he does have a lot of good info, too, that I will be looking forward to studying! I'm looking forward to following your work.
ReplyDeleteHi Meredith! Yes, Keene is like the Wikipedia of painting:) LOVE the name of your blog: Paint like nobody's watching! Thanks for commenting.
