Contemplating Colors 8" x 10" oil on board
The last painting in a session seems to turn out the best. Maybe it's because I'm warmed up and in the flow. Maybe it's because the late afternoon light creates more intense warm and cool shades. Or maybe it's because there is a more interesting mix of colors on my palette.
