Tea Jubilee

Tea Jubilee 16 x 20 oil on canvas

In addition to the small daily studies I like to keep a larger
painting going as well.  It gives me more space to try to
apply the paint in different ways and
design the light/dark patterns.

This was so much fun for me to paint just by picking the
colors that make my heart sing.

  2. Hi Linda,

Thanks so much for your nice comment! I thought about toning down the pink but decided to leave it just because I liked it.

  3. Speechless, here in Las Cruces. A WOW is appropriate. This is a wonderful piece. I see the hand and vision of the artist.
I keep larger ones going in the studio too.
    Love your Vermeer too.

  4. Wow a Wow! Thanks Julie, that makes me feel great since I really admire your work so much. After all it was you that helped me move more in this direction, more cups and saucers on the way.
