Hip Hop 6 x 6 oil on board
This was a painting I was supposed to finish yesterday,
but just as I got started the whole country
of Malta had a black out!
My computer has two monitors, one of which
I keep right beside my easel so that
when I work from photos I
see much better colors.
I enjoyed doing these motion paintings
and I wanted to get one more
done to post before the challenge ends tomorrow.
I love the movement you achieved in this one. It's lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Debra!
DeleteI love this work, well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret, it's been a fun challenge on DPWorks.
DeleteWow, all the energy is right there! Fabulous brushwork, so loose, terrific.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne, it was really fun to do! I guess the energy kept me going...
DeleteGorgeous movement. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHi Helen, I'm glad it worked, I've never tried to paint motion before this challenge!
DeleteGreat colors and brush work in this!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fay, I decided on the colors before I started painting and felt the brush work need to have lots of energy to convey the movement.
DeleteYou got the motion down. I posted one but it barely suggested motion but this one certainly does.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, it was a challenging challenge! I'm happy to see that my comment came up on your blog, twice in fact!
ReplyDeleteThis one is extra fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThank you Julie!
