More Plane Green Tea

More Plane Green Tea  6x6  oil on board

This is the still life I had in my Still Life Stage when
we had the black out in Malta.
I really like to let a painting sit and then come
back to it later.
I just oil over it with medium and go back in.
Waiting gives me a fresh eye and I can
correct my drawing errors more easily.

I just love painting this silly little plane!

  2. P.S.: Bruce, you wrote about yourself so wonderfully! Have you ever thought about writing a book or something? Seriously, very interesting and unusual, great job!

  3. Hi Irina, I'm glad you liked the warm colors. I'm drawn to them often. About the writing, are you talking about the About Me thingy? If so, it would be really cool if you signed up for my somewhat regular free newsletter. It's a bit more newsy than the blog. I do like to write sometimes, although I don't know diddly about it. I think for me it comes from a deep seated need to be listened to, and the coolest part is- nobody interrupts! Thanks for commenting!

  7. I love this piece! And I just saw an email that you left me a few weeks ago. My apologies for not responding but didn't see it until today and then deleted it by mistake. Anyway, in answer to your question, I have been a vegetarian for about 8 years or so...don't know how I could look them in the eye if they were on my plate.
